Mini World Action Day with Mighty Minis - Saturday 30th September

19th September 2006
A special event; the ever popular Mini World Action Day will be taking place again at the wonderful circuit of Castle Coombe in Wiltshire. This is the time when all Mini owners get a chance to take to the track in their cars and have a fun day out. As in previous years the Mighty Minis series will be present. There will be standard Mighty Minis and Super Mighty Minis on show. For the brave, or foolhardy, there will be passenger rides available with the proceeds going to charity.

This year the charity is a personal one. In 2004 Pete Nash a loving husband and father of 3 boys was diagnosed with a large AVM in his brain.

It has caused him to suffer with Epilepsy and as a result he cannot work, drive or do any of the sports he so loved doing.

His memory has been affected also making it difficult for him to remember short term things, like what he done yesterday !

Pete is 38 years old.

For more details look at Pete's Fund

If you are thinking of joining the Mighty Minis series next year this is a great opportunity to meet some of the people involved. All your questions will be answered, some of them correctly. You can expect a warm welcome and an interesting day.

This year BRMinis will be going to this event. We hope that the whole team will be present so lots of helping hands will be on call.

Castle Coombe is just off the M4 at Junction 17
